I went bankrupt 3 years ago due to loosing $1000.00 per month of my income. My income is now only $555.35 per month. Is there any hope of me re-establishing credit. I am trying to save up enough money to move into a larger apartment or put a down payment on a home which I will share with my gentlemen friend. We will be able to afford
a small payment with our combined income. His money is currently tied up in renting an assisted living place. He can't do his own cooking due to a stroke. He has no credit history at all because he has never had to charge anything.
In the past three years I have not been able to charge anything except for some tires from Les Shawb (spelling)
and some car repairs. Both which I paid in 3 to 4 months time. I do make monthly rent payments, monthly medical dues payments, and monthly auto insurance payments. I don't know if that is of any help though.
Can someone help me?

Patricia,
It sounds like you might be on SSI. If that is the case, Capital One might issue you a card.

Patricia, unfortunitly the payments you mention are not being reported to the CRA'S.With a income of 555.00/mo.I would agree with Linda and try for a sucred card.I hope that things work out for you.
