I currently have 3 credit cards.. all from the same bank: Providian .. they are all high 23.99% APR.. is there any way I can combine any of the cards or my accounts?

The three cards are:

- Providian Visa Gold
- Providian Mastercard Gold
- GetSmart Classic

Also, I think I would like to cancel one or two of them, is there a charge for cancelling a card?

Call the bank and ask them to combine the 3 into 1 saving the oldest card and close the other 2.

At the same time ask if you can have the GETSMART 0.00% with a go-to rate of 9.99% (won’t hurt to ask).
