Trade to MBNA QUANTUM, 11.99% (better than nothing).
It will help till you find something better.

Look around and you'll find many cards offering great intro rates on balance transfers, some as low as 0% for six months. Of course you'll have to be cardful to either pay off the entire balance while still enjoying the low rate, or have another low rate card ready in the wings to transfer the remaining balance when the first low rate expires. I can't verify this right now, but you might look into American Express' Optima Card. They have had a zero percent offer for either six or nine months.

Have you considered calling up MBNA to see if they can lower the rate for you? If you are in good standing they may consider lowering your rates, then did lower mine a couple of percentage points awhile back (I have the sprint mastercard). Now that the fed rates are lower I'm considering asking again. But if your credit score is as high as you say and you are in good standing with them they may lower it somewhat for you depending on which card you have. It's worth a try at least until you can come up with another solution.

What is your Credit line on your card? How many other Credit cards do you have and what are the Balances..? Are you making more than the min? How long have you had your Card..? Call The Toll Free # on the Back of your Card, ask them if you can Discuss your interest rates.. I would say that if your rate is still at 15.9.. You would probaly have a chance to get some assistance.. If it was at a risk based 19.98 to 24.98. you would not have any success.. Good Luck
