Where do I go for balance transfers. My 23% apr is killing me. I missed a few payments but was excellent for the first 8 months and have bee supplying double the minimum for the past three months. At this rate I will be paying off this 2000 dollar credit card for 40 years. 10 dollars a month I gain on it.

At 23% it sounds like you may have to wait 2 or more years to get that prime interest rate. Let me guess, you have Providian or Household Bank.Pay this card down and then apply for more credit.
The only balance transfer you will see in the near future is funds from your job being issued to the holder of your card's bank!
Also , get a secured card like First Consumers or Sterling and slowly save your money and transfer the balances to that card.
