Are balance transfers restricted to the time of application? There are some high-credit balances that I'd like to transfer to a new card. I've noticed that you can do that during the initial application. Can you do that after you've been issued your new card?

Some cards give you a higher credit limit and/or lower interest rate if you balance transfer at application time.

Are balance transfers restricted to the time of application?

No, you can do them anytime. Although, you are not likely to get the intro APR for balance transfers that you had at the time of application. Ask the issuer.
