US Credit Cards for Non-US Citizens

Post subject: US Credit Cards for Non-US Citizens

I would like to find out if it's possible to apply for a US credit card for a non-US citizen. The reason I asked this is because there are some online transactions I want to make that are based in US web sites (some online transactions I made got rejected) and I believe they only accept US credit cards coz' most of the times, I pay my bills on time (never had bad credit rating).. For your info, I live in Singapore and I own a Citibank credit card.
