I used to have awesome credit but with some unfortunate events I now have a charge-off on my credit history.

I am looking to rebuild my credit and would appreciate some advice.

My credit score is around 630.

I have 4 inquiries on my credit.

I have one Chase credit card that I use for business and personal but am not able to get a needed credit limit increase.

I am looking to get another card, to separate personal and business expenses but also to rebuild my credit. I recently got a decline from MBNA.

What card/cards would you suggest I apply for?

Check for secured credit card ,local credit unions cc's or store cards. You have to be careful in choosing these cards, specially with secured credit cards(comes generally with annual fee and a deposit). Talk to someone of your trust who have a high credit score(husband/wife , father/mother) to add as an authorized user(even if the person didn't give you the A.U. credit card , the important is its credit history) . And remember rebuilding your credit history is a time consuming process but the rewards are far better and worth it.

I could be added as an AU to someone elses card but I don't want to do that. I also don't want to get a secured card. Are there any other cards that are easy to get?

Is it possible getting a credit card using my car as a security?

My first card was Discover and I was approved without any problems. Should I try applying for one again?

Try applying for a credit card issued by a credit union which are easier than big banks , but you may have to become a member. Also store cards of your favorite stores have higher rate of credit approvals.
