I apply yesterday for FirstBank Puerto Rico (administered by MBNA) with a 0% on BT for 9 months and 8.90% on purchases.

The application is here:

Interesting. Do you have to be a resident of Puerto Rico to apply?

No , since this card owned by MBNA(through ibsnetaccess) , everybody from the US , Puerto Rico & USVIis included for the application. Now the only thing is that if your statement receives in Spanish , you must call to the MBNA representatives to switch to English.

Update: I upgraded my account from Platinum Plus to Quantum .

http://www.mbna.com/creditcards/travel.html

The "Elite Rewards" card 0% apr for 12 billing cycles. fee 3% $10min $75 max.

Most of the other cards on that page (didn't check them all) either have a non-zero intro APR or no maxium (I hate that).

Anyone know if you can reallocate credit limits between a MBNA Motely Fool card and an Elite Rewards card?

MBNA has been particularly accomodating in shifting available credit from one card to another. As a matter of fact, their reps have even suggested it to me on their own to help me take the fullest possible advantage of particular offers. I think it's happened three times to me.

I opened an MBNA account in March 2005 (CL $30,000) which offered 2.9% for 12 cycles. I did a BT of $26,000 in response. That BT expires in February 2006, but I decided to pay it off last month to take advantage of the MBNA BillPay, which I figured would give me 0% each month as long as I juggled carefully and paid off the bills in time. Intramonth I ran up $26,000 in bills, but sent a payment to bring my statement closing balance down to just under $15,000 (50% of my CL).

Tonight I logged onto my MBNA account and found a new offer--0% ($75 max fee) through October 2006!

I am very pleasantly surprised.
