Does anyone have experience with the MBNA Elite Rewards Mastercard in terms of the hotel rewards redemption? My primary card is a Starwood AmEx and my secondary card is an MBNA Amtrak MC.

I’m only interested in the 5,000 point hotel reward with the MBNA Elite card. I know that most other features of the card are non-competitive. MBNA’s web site indicates that 5,000 points are required for a free night at Ramada’s, Days Inns, Howard Johnson’s, and a few others. Does anyone know if this includes ALL hotels within these chains? It would be nice to only redeem 5,000 points for a free night in New York city, but I have a hunch that restrictions amy apply.

T3, I don’t know the answer to your question, but maybe you can help me. How do I get in touch with MBNA in general? My credit report shows that I have a card through them but it doesn’t say what card that is. Do you have a phone # for MBNA? Thanks.
