I have no credit, but do have a clean record for everything else. I need to establish myself now, but want to get the best bang for my buck. Any suggestions?

Search this site for rate comparisons and you can find some credit card companies that offer decent APRs for people with limited or no credit. Don’t pay money to companies for fees upfront, etc. and don’t settle for extremely high interest rates. If all else is good, you should be able to get around 9.9% or lower

Get a secured VISA or MASTERCARD that reports as an unsecured credit card.Capital One,Umbrellabank,American Pacific Bank,or Orchard bank. They charge only around $35 a year for annual fee but you get interest from deposit. They don’t charge any other of those dumb fees like the bad credit credit cards. You just need one to establish credit and it will all get easier from there.
