Such a stupid question - can someone else pay my monthly payment? I suppose yes, but anyway - can someone else write my account number on his check, and will the check be accepted?
Thank you,
Travis

Travis-

You know the saying-"The only stupid question is the one you don't ask!" But in answer to your question-yes! The company doesn't care who makes your payment as it's paid! Card companies payments are processed electronically anyway so nobody is physically looking at your check when it comes in. It's all read & scanned by computer so they have no idea who actually made the payment. Just make sure your account # is on the check and also keep in mind that if you give someone else the responsibilty of making your payments for you and for some reason they don't, the company will still hold you responsible for any interest or fees you are charged. You may want to contact your card company and ask them about autopay-where you can have your payment automatically taken out of your checking account every month. It's usually free and you save money on the stamps & checks and save time!! Hope this helps!
