Post subject: Credit Card Offers in The Mail
I am young and never had a credit card, but I have been paying my auto loan for few months. There was a mail offer today from Capital One Platium. Is there anything bad about these offers? What should I be careful about?

CAPITAL ONE
2 OR 3 HARDS FOR ONE CARD
(one each CRA)
(AS LOW AS $200 OR $300 CREDIT LIMIT)
On the UP-SIDE it is usually easier (like you get bonus points for getting the offer)

Some offers are good, some offers are bad. How can we advise you when we don't know what offer you got or what you want/need in credit?

1. Make sure the offers are from credible banks. Capital One is okay; Merchant Direct or Aspire is a no-no.
2. Since you don't have much of credit history, watch out for annual fee.

Rather than copying portions of text from the report,
I'll tell ya to download this free report.
It's called: Confidential Credit Card Report
http://astoundinginc.com/creditcardreport
(Yes. I helped my friend put it together.)
It's gonna tell you a lot about what you should know
about credit cards... although some experts may know some of it.
