Just received change of cc agreement letter in mail today.
This section jumped out at me.

"The default rate section will be revised so that the default rate or non-preffered rate will not apply if you fail to make a payment when due to another creditor other than us or one of our related companies"

Guess all the customer complaints about Universal Default rates are starting to pay off...

Had consumers and consumer watchdog groups NOT made a big issue out of this, then surely, they (the issuers) would not have backed off voluntarily like this..
