My husband is from NZ but is currently in the US (fixed address for about three to six months in New Orleans) and wants to travel, however all of the cheap internet fares require a billing address in the US.
Trying to apply for a US credit card online has so far been unsuccessful as social security number is required and also applicant must be a citizen or resident.
My question is - does anyone know of a credit card that we could get. We both work and have excellent credit ratings.

If you’re here long term, why not simply file a change of address with your current credit card? You can always change it back later when you return home. That will give you a US billing address and will avoid your having to apply for another card. My Significant Other has a BarclayCard from England. The statement arrives here every month and as long as the bill is paid, nobody questions it..

If your husband is not a US citizen or perminent resident, he will not be able to get an unsecured credit card. At least I’m not aware of any card company that would approve that. He could try applying for a secured card but even then there is criteria he would have to meet depending on the company. If you are a citizen then you should try applying in your name and listing him as a coapplicant or authorized user so he would have a card in his name. Also, if you have existing credit cards, just add him to your account! Good luck
