Hello,

Does anyone presently have a cash back credit card with 0% interest? Does your cash back credit card offer cashback when you reach a certain amount vs. getting a check at the end of the year? Any suggestions will be appreciated!

FirstUSA’s Free Cash Rewards gives 1% cash back and first 6 month of %0 APR on purchases. You have to call in when you reach 2500 points or $25. The points will expire at the end of 2 years, i.e. the points accumulate in 2002 will expire on December 2004. Discover card also offers something similar; however their cash back threshold is $20.

I’ve never understood why anyone would want a “Cash” or “Rewards” card. The interest rate is always adjusted higher to PAY for the things you get as a “Reward”. It’s sort of like setting your clock ahead to fool yourself in the morning. It comes to nothing.
