Post subject: Best Credit Card Balance Transfer Offer
I transfered about 10k to a Citicard at 2.9% with no fee for the life of the loan. This rate is pretty good, but what are the best offers out there for balance transfer? Is there anything better than 2.9% for the life of the balance transfer. I dont care about any other benefits/rewards.

Congrats! Great offer and hard to beat! I think Discover still has a 0% for life offer, but it has restrictions. Check here for other balance transfer offers:

yes, that is a good rate. Folks have talked about discover's 0% for the life, but it requires a purchase or 2 every month and note that the payments will not pay down the purchase amounts (payments are applied to the lower rate balances first). Some have the deal where you just need one purchase a month and they buy a pack of gum every month. What I have seen is a min. 50 purchase every month, which is not a very good deal.

Try Providian. They are eager to aquire new accounts. They sent me a mailing offering up to $30,000 at 0% until October 2006. The offer also says that free online access to your FICO score is included. I applied for a $20,000 BT yesterday (I had a $20,000 zero percent card with them 13 years ago that I closed after I paid it off).
