Just wondering if anyone has had any charge-off dealings with Discover Card? They seem to be very difficult to deal with.

Don't have any trouble with Discover myself, but from my many months of research on other things it appears that Discover WILL come after you for even the smallest amount. How much are we talking about?

I have heard the exact same thing, Discover is a very agressive company when it comes to suing, and also here that they go after you regardless if the amount is high or not.
I have one friend, that was very fortunate last year to settle with them, but it was close - they did get a judgment against her, but she negotiated for dismissal of the judgment, they took their time though on updating the court house.

Discover has always been very agressive when collecting what is owed to them, even when they were owned by Sears. They will sue if you do not pay.

Well yes, they just sued me, that's why I asked. I had tried over the months to negotiate a settlement with them but they refuse to hear anything. I had no idea they would be this inflexible. Now I had to get a lawyer.
