Title: Preapproved Credit Card Offers

I just traded in my truck which I had a loan from chase for and got a loan from B of A for the new one. I am 20 years old and make about 8,000 a year and my FICO was 767. My question is, is that I talked about a pre-approved offer I got from chase for chase customers a few weeks back, but now that I am no longer a chase customer does this pre-approved offer still apply to me? I don't think the loan has been closed yet, so if I apply as a chase customer and they see in a week that I closed my loan would they raise my interest rate or cancel my account

Euro,
You ought to jump on that preapproved offer - do it by phone or online to beat the deadline.
In my earlier (somewhat rummy) post I meant to say that you don't have to worry about a change in terms after you get the card. (not after the pre-approval since terms can still be changed until you actually get the agreement and card)
In my experience, card companies are more likely to change things like the credit limit or type of card (substitute Classic instead of Gold) than change the offerred intro rate. I think you can count on the 0% for 12 months as long as you don't have any negative information (derogatories) on your credit reports at any time during the intro period.
Hope it works out. If you apply by phone make sure you have all the information you need in front of you. I like to have the written application filled out before I call. But that's just me - I have a hard time keeping my story straight.
