Title: BP Visa Credit Card

There is a BP station a block and a half from where I work, in a county which offers low gas prices. This is the lowest BP station around. The others, including ones near wher I live, are higher than non-major brands.
I am thinking of getting this card, but I am basing it on:
1) I will continue to work at my job near this station.
2) The station will continue to be competitive, or not change owners. (There is a Shell across the street, and they tend to keep each other’s prices down).
If either of these two scenarios falls apart, then BP in general is higher-priced.
Is getting the BP Visa, based upon these two variables, a wise choice, or sould I get a non-gas rebate card ?

The Shell card from Cahse offers a 5% rebate on Shell gas. The BP card from First USA offers a 3% rebate on BP. Both offer a 1% rebate on all other purchases, except that BP will not give rebatres on any competitive gasoline purchase.
However, there is a potentially better deal than either of them out there, that being the AAA MasterCard (or Visa if you like) from MBNA. If your station offers pay-at-the-pump where you swipe your card right at the pump, this card offers a 5% rebate on ANY brand, but no rebate on any non-gas purchase.
You have to figure which will work best for your situation.
