A friend of mine signed up for a Schwab One account which comes with a VISA debit card. However, my friend tells me that it doesn’t work like a normal debit card. The card reader at the local super markets reject the card when entered as either a debit or credit card. If it cannot be used for purchases, how can they call it a debit card? Does anyone have any experience with this type of account/card?
