Post subject: sears and "age grouping"

I received a letter from a woman in her late 30s who was denied credit with Sears due to "age grouping". She provided a copy of the denial letter as proof. Does anyone know what "age grouping" is or been denied credit for this reason?" I am interested in finding out more about this.
