Dear CardRevolt : I need a card that fits my situation of a bad credit history . I have a very good job and lots of equilty in my house. I need to biuld by credit back up. I’m looking for the lower interest but pays the highest on the secured card. I need the card to report to the credit bureaus . If I could get the lower annual fee also. I think in Colorado there’s a cap on card intrest rates is this true . I don’t know alot about cards and do know if you don’t watch out you way get burned. Thank You For Any Help Keith Smith

I’m not sure about Colorado’s state laws concerning bank interest and they would be null/void if you received a card from a bank outside the state. There a couple of national cards which may suite you well..
The Associates Secured Card - $35 Annual Fee - Minimum Deposit: $300 - APR: 19.49% Variable
Capital One Secured Card - $39 Annual Fee - Minimum Deposit: As low as $49 - APR: 19.80% Fixed
Of course, these are not the only cards on the market. A local credit union may be able to assist you in getting a secured card as well (the fees might be lower). I’ve heard a lot of good things about both of the cards I mentioned above, and you might want to check them out. As far as I know, both report to the credit bureaus as unsecured cards (I’ll call their credit departments tomorrow to verify this). For more cards I suggest you visit the following links..

If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to post them.
Take Care,
Casey Smith
