Post subject: Stats on debt by gender?

I am a college student doing a short research papaer on credit card debt in
the USA, according to gender. I would like to be able to access on-line
files that can tell me male debt vs female debt in the U.S. Any help you can
offer me would be greatly appreciated, as soon as possible. Do you know of
any good sources(statistics).

I am pretty sure the information is out there on the Internet, you just need to find it. You might want to try the Federal Reserve, they offer various finance related statistical reports, their web site is federalreserve.gov, and you might want to visit BankRate.com, they may offer articles in relation to your study, their web site address is www.bankrate.com.

I did a search for statistics for you on several search engines and didn’t really come up with anything. I suggest looking in your local yellow pages under debt and credit counseling for an agency that deals with credit card debt. They may have some statistics that you can use, and you might be able to set up an interview for your paper.
