I have a charge off on my report.
I am disabled now and cannot pay it.
How long does it remain on my credit report?
I also have one other that says "collection account"
There are two dates out at the end, 06/94 and (00-00-01)
with this under it *****5******/************.
I do not understand this, the key does not help me.

Steve,
Negative information usually remains on your credit report for seven years.
I am not exactly sure what the "*****5******/************" signifies, though most likely where it notes "5" is where there is some issue about the account. Unfortunately, I can't be more specific as credit reports tend to vary on their presentation and layout. Hopefully, someone else can answer you question.
Sincerely,
Alex Daskaloff
