How can I show proof, after I already have sent proof to 3 credit collections, a credit account error. They keep telling me they don't belive me . Showing my proof of what I have. An error was make on the credit card of not cancelling a card that was transfered to another account. I sent 9 pages of cancelled checks and payments of credit card statements of the only cards that were in use at the time. I have asked to speak to someone of management of the credit and they refuse me. Is their some one I can turn to besides a Lawyer?

I am afraid that a lawyer is your only recourse.First try your state's attorney, they are slow but they are free.

Then try a local lawyer or place an ad at a local law school and see if you can get some up and coming law students who wil take your case as a project.Although you can't directly compensate them, you can still set up a book fund or scholarship at that school as an exchange.

Bottom line is that I know your situation and until the laws surrounding credit bureau's are modified, a lawyer is the best way. If she can not get your records cleared then she can at least fatten your wallet in a settlement.

It sucks. Credit is a privlegde, not a right. After 7 years from now you will better understand this and the next time you will do everything humanly possible to protect your privledge. I know you will and good luck.
