You know how credit card companies like to advertise to college students by e-mail? Where do they get these lists of e-mail addresses from? Would I be able to get them from the same companies?

Go to the DMA (Direct Marketing Association) web site. I don’t remember the exact address, but I know that it”s NOT www.dma.com or www.dma.org. When you find it, they have a number of mailing list brokers listed there. That’s what you want is somebody who rents (nobody sells them) mailing lists. They will rent you virtually any kind of list you can think of, as many names as you want, parrticular geographic areas, etc. Hope this helps
