My widowed 80+ mother-in-law wants a card for convenience. Anyone know of a card readily issued to elderly?
Thanks

Spin,
Thanks for your post! Take a look at our October article. It deals with this very subject! You can acess this article by clicking on "Credit Information" from our home page and then clicking on "Monthly Article". Then, click on the "Article Archive" link in the lower left hand corner of the page.
Hope this helps!

My Mom is 79, a cancer survivor, and she lives with me. She has never had credit in her own name, since my Dad always handled those things.
Capital One gave her a secured card with a small limit. A few weeks later, she got an offer from American Express. I have to talk her into charging something on the card every month, hahaha.
I registered her cards online, and pay them for her each month - had to get her an email address too. Every now and then I, or someone in the family sends her an email, just to keep her "up with the times." I print it so she can read it. It's a trip.
