Hello,
I hold a Royal Bank Avion Gold Card. They have been good to me on Credit Limits, purchase protection, etc. They cover the CDW and Theft (i think) protection on car rentals, however, there are no tangible rental rate discounts outside of the US and Canada. Is there a Credit Card on the market that caters more to international travellers with tanglible rental discounts at a specific (or multiple) rental agencies?

Thank you for your help.

Jonah,

I would look into an American Express Charge Card, they are perhaps one of the best cards to have for those who frequently travel outside the United States. Visit their site for more info:

Jonah,

Thanks for your post! You might also want to take a look at the Diner's Club card. It is the preferred card for many intl. travelers. Their rental car coverage is particularly attractive. For ex., their rental car coverage is primary, as opposed to being a secondary policy like the vast majority of cards out there. Visit our "Card Reports" section for more details. Then click on "Reward Card Reports" and finally on "Airline Mile Rewards".

Hope this helps. Let us know how things turn out!
