Post subject: Next card review taken off

Just writing to wonder why yesterday I wrote two topics about about how bad the next card is, did one of them get taken off the posting board. In the second one (that was removed ) I questioned whether this web site got a commission on the people that they send to Next Card. The posting was on yesterday after I posted it, then today it was gone ?????

Not complaing about this site, just wondering why my second posting got taken off, and why they rate the Next Card so highly. It really is the worst card that you can get.

Dear Brian,

We are very open about our sponsors (I don't know of any other related sites that are as open)! Every ad on our site is labeled with the phrase "Site Sponsor". Please read our "Why We're Better" page for a complete description of how we derive income from our site.

We deleted your second post because your second post had nothing to do with a card review or a personal experience with a credit card (which is the focus of this board). Your first post did contain card review info. and we value these type of posts.

As for NextCard...we are the only site that I know of that has explicit warnings about some of the potential downfalls of this card (each ad contains a warning statement). Please read our "Card Rewards" page for more info. We have had these warnings posted on our site for months. Despite some pitfalls, NextCard has many positive points. And, by using the techniques we've outlined, you can avoid potential pitfalls and earn frequent flyer points twice as fast as with conventional cards (visit the "click here for a comparison chart" link on our Card Rewards page for more info.). This is the reason NextCard is our top pick among frequent flyer cards...commissions have nothing to do with our card ratings.

At any rate, thanks for your posts! Just wanted to explain why we deleted your second post and clarify our stand on the issues you raised. I have posted this response on our board as well.

Regards,
Curtis Arnold
