Post subject: Re: Fleet Credit Card Services Their Hardship Program
October27th 2004:
I was having trouble paying my bill, I called Fleet
When you call the Bank somehow you get switched over to Encore
I talked to a girl that said her name was Evette she said she could put me in the Hardship Program.
My Monthly payment would be a $195.00 a month we set up checks for the payments to
Be drafted out of my checking 6 checks, I have the checks the Dates they are suppose to be drafted.
And also my APR was suppose to be dropped to 10%. I kept getting my statements and they
Were not saying 10%.
I would call back and they would say in 2 or 3 months the statements would be fixed.
I called the first week in February of 2005, they said call back in a week the problem would be straightened out , next the phone starts ringing and Encore is demanding $ 2974.00,
I told them what the girl Evette had done drafting the checks, Evette had never put me in the computer and I talked to a Lorraine and she told,
Me to call back over to Fleet and again I was transferred back to Encore
I talked to a Stephanie she to me what to do so I could get a Supervisor at Fleet,
I talked to Travia and explained the situation what they had done to me after thinking that they were being willing to help me with my problem they cashed 3 of the checks and never cashed the February check,
She connected me with a guy named Alex he said in order for me to go into the program
I would need to put up $600.00 and after the check clears he can put me in the program
At $225.00 a month or 3 months and if I need additional time to call him back,
When the $600.00 check clears I am suppose to call him
To set up the $225.00 payment arrangement.
But during my conversation with Lorraine she told me that my account had been turned over To CompuServe on 1/25/2005.

I would write a very detailed letter to the company following everything and everyone you spoke to up to this point and send it in to their dispute department. Might send it to address listing at www.planetfeedback.com sometimes you get higher up person that direction.
But get it in writing, so they can’t keep making arrangements and changing things on you. If in writing then you get correspondence back from them in writing and you have the proof that you need if they try changing things again.
Sorry to hear of all the trouble you are having. Hope they can make amends and credit you back the original agreement.
Best Regards,
