Can you tell me if any Visa or MasterCard issuers do not
charge “Currency Conversion” charges? Visa and MasterCard each
charge 1-3% more than the normal exchange rate for purchases
overseas, but many issuers tack on another 1-5% as a “currency
conversion charge.” My present card, AT-&-T UniversalCard
(Citibank), is one that tacks on the extra fee, and it drives me
crazy because I travel so much overseas. Please guide me to any
site that can provide such information if you cannot.
