I have reason to believe that Citibank is putting unreasonable barriers for my being approved for their pre-approved credit card. I believe that ethnic, age and sex discrimination is driving their attitude. I would like to file a complaint against the company. With what government agency can I file such a complaint?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you.

Luz,
I would suggest that you contact the FTC (Federal Trade Comission). They have a handy online complaint form (located at http://www.ftc.gov) that you can use. If enough consumers complain about a given card issuer, they will pursue a formal investigation into the matter.
This is the first complaint I have heard of this nature.
Hope this helps!

In addition to that for banks there is the FDIC and for Credit Unions there is the NCUA can do a google search for them, but they are the regulating companies over the banks.
