Post subject: CitiCards Fico Score
Does anyone have any idea what citicards uses as the fico score for excellent credit? My scores from Transunion, Exquifax, and Experian are 681, 741, 678 respectively. I would like their Dividend Platinum Select card as it gives 5% for gas, restaurants, and supermarkets, plus 1% for everything else. Problem is I don't want to apply if I am going to get declined. Currently I dont have any CC debt, just a balance on a car loan and my oldest cc is just over five years. Just curious as to what others think. (I applied for the PerfectCard which gives 3% for gas only and I was going to try to upgrade from that card to the other if possible)
Thanks,
Mike

Think you have a good chance, remember my DH's scores being in the 650 range when he applied and was approved... it was not the same one you are looking at though. I had that one myself, and my scores were 680 to 700 range... but that was not FICO model scores I went by.

Sorry DH = Dear Husband There are a few short cut words like that... CRA = Credit Reporting Agency CRRR = Certified Return Receipt Requested CA = Collection Agency CC = Credit Card CO = Charge Off CCCS = Consumer Credit Counseling Service DW = Dear Wife SO = Significant Other FCRA = Fair Credit Reporting Act FDCPA = Fair Debt Collection Practices Act I know I have more somewhere, it can get confusing moving amoung the boards and keeping up with the short hand out here - almost need a manual just for the language before you can get started.

Actually it's an official census designation which probably makes it all the more humourous.
