I have not heard myself of success with Providian through PFB, some of the other boards my have... when I first learned of the web site, I was over to creditinfocenter.com - many people at that time were reporitng their experiences... you might be able to search their site, for such responses.

I dont have a providian card but looking at planetfeedback rating by customers they do respond well(the ear sign next to the feedback means the company does a good job responding). I have had mixed experiences with planetfeedback but it does provide another means of communicating with CC companies. This along with speaking with their CS and writing to their executive office helped me resolve most of the issues. Good luck.
