Like your site. It gave me what i wasnt finding on bankrate. more detail. After looking around,I did find a few mileage cards i liked and applied and was accepted within moments.
After the fact,i read your piece on straight rebates, usually being a better deal, but I'm satisfied with my choice.Dont want to bore you, buti choose miles because:
1) I dont carry a balance,so a rebate check would just get frittered away with no real benefit.
2) I do travel,at least 1 major flying trip per year, and now that I'm older and the kids are nearly grown, its nice to have miles in the bank to use whenever.
Bonus miles are nice, and this particular card does a 5 mile per dollar on gas, drugs,so will get in the habit of putting gas on this one,and getting rid of a couple gas cards, which are worthless except for the convenience.Like the picture option for security and online options too, though i already do that with most bills.
Oh,no fee on this one either. Any way, time will tell. Once before had what i thought was a great card, but the ink wasnt even dry before they started changing the rules.Kind of a bait and switch, and with a major carrier !
Thanks again,good site,andI'll be back.
Best Regards,
Curtis Arnold
