Credit Tips: Merge of Credit Card Companies

Post subject: Bank One–Chase merger of credit cards

I have a Bank One Visa with a $14,500 limit and a Chase Perfectcard with a $13000 limit. Once they merge, does anyone know if I can combine the two cards into one $27,500 Perfectcard from Chase? I am thinking of getting rid of the Visa because the Chase Perfectcard has a better reward program, but only if I can combine them, because I don’t want to lose the $14,500 credit limit from Visa. Maybe the merger will allow me to do this? Does Chase do stuff like this?
