Post subject: Discover Card Inquiries…
My credit file reflects an extraordinary amount of inquiries from DISCOVER CARD. I have 2 Discover Cards, and I know that these companies do this sort of thing once in a while, but I’ve never seen so many hits against my file by one company. Are these “inquiries” dragging down my credit score? Are these “Soft” inquiries or actual hits against my credit score? I’ve called them, and they claim that this is normal and they are actually doing this “for my benefit”. I get the same queezy feeling when politicians tell me the same thing. Eugene? …anybody?
