Credit Tips: ATM Card vs. Check Card

Post subject: Visa Check Card
I have a plain old ATM card, and my bank just “sent” me a Visa check card, with a note about it being an upgrade, blah, blah, blah. I use credit cards, and my ATM card, to get cash. On the one hand, the check card sounds convenient, but is it a bag of worms?? I really use the ATMs for cash, and that is it. I do purchases with rewards credit cards.
