Credit Card Upgrade for American Express Blue to Green

Post subject: AmEx Blue to Green

Has anyone out there tried to get their Blue/Blue Cash converted to Rewards Green card? Is it advisable?

Any input will be greatly appreciated

Different product won’t happen

You can apply for the GREEN

Should be easy

Might even get it “PRE-APPROVED”

I called them up regarding this and they asked me to call their new accounts department! This is weird. I do not want a new card! Just the type of the card to be changed.

When I called the new accounts department the lady there started a new application for me. I asked her if they will do a credit pull while considering my request, and she replied in the affirmative!
