I’m interested in knowing people’s experiences with credit card balance transfers. These offers seem great on the surface - but are they? Please share your experiences with credit card transfers for those who may be considering doing this. Thanks.

THERE IS NEVER A DOWN-SIDE TO A BALANCE TRANSFER AS LONG AS YOU DON’T PAY MORE TO DO SO

Sometimes the BT FEE makes the BT APR “COST” MORE than what you are trying to pay off

Done lots of bt’s and no problems…apparently the terms are too difficult for some folks…I have had several coworkers screw them up..not have the money at the end or put purchases on the card….it’s not rocket science..know the terms and do some kind of tracking and have an escape plan.
