Capital One Denial for Credit Card Tips

Post subject: Question about Capital One’s reason for not approving me

After waiting almost two weeks for Capital One’s approval or denial answer, I finally received a denial letter thru the mail today from them. I don’t understand how I got denied because I applied for the cc for limited credit card. But anyways it said:

The reason(s) for not approving your request are:

*Based on the credit report from Equifax for Michael W Harris jr, credit bureau information is missing or unavailable.

*Based on the credit report from Experian for Michael W Harris jr, credit bureau information is missing or unavailable.

*Based on the credit report from Trans Union for Michael W Harris jr, credit bureau information is missing or unavailable.

What does this mean? Is it saying that I don’t exist? Or is it saying this because I have no credit what so ever?

I recently finished high school so I shouldn’t have any credit. I was scared at first because I was thinking there was something wrong with my ssn.
