No my landlord (mgt company) refuses to accept non cheque payments. But yes I wish I could. However, I don’t want to pay % fees. A small flat rate fee may be acceptable if I can pay 6 months at a go or something. The ideal situation will not have me paying fees of course.
I don’t want to be interviewed, but good luck for your article. Hopefully it’ll come out soon with real substantial details and information about which major mgt companies allow credit card payments. Hopefully this will be before my lease is up.

Post subject: regular bank
Not sure I want to be interviewed either, but I use Capital One purchase checks all the time. I just used a regular bank check again this weekend and they took forever to take the money out! I hate that. On the contrary when I use a CC check I get my receipt right away and my business with the rent people is DONE. Credit card company bill comes only once a month so I usually don’t bother about the date the check will post; also since I have a limit up to the CC limit which I just about never hit, I don’t have that to worry about, either.
