Post subject: Should I Apply for New Credit Card?
This message posted by e-mail request from one of the visitors to our site:
I re-started credit just recently, even though i have one card from 1999, with 6 thousand credit on it. my f.i.c.a. through equifax is 697, as i did get my platinum-card through bank of america, my question is: if i should apply again, who would you suggest?
I’ve yet to be billed from bank of america, so paying pattern is established. i sent premeire’s card back, as fees are insanely high, and i am solid in my credit life. thus, should i wait for my at least first payment, before applying?
My credit is limited, but building, and at 697, i should be able to obtain more “quality” credit cards. however, no one on the west-coast uses equifax, only experian and transunion. so, obviously, i, for egos sake, don’t want to be declined, so i can wait, but please post it. did read some from your site, very good information, particularly, its regular folks, saying bad things about certain companies, you never hear, and my uncle had chase, and they cut him from 7500 to 3000 and never told him, everyone passed the buck on the phone. he think’s it had to do with providian’ acquistion, they got into deep. the letter about chaper 7 at orchard, gee now why wouldn’t orchard give him new credit?
Best Regards,
Curtis Arnold
