Post subject: Credit Cards With Great Customer Service

I am writing because I recently had a bad credit card
experience with my former Northwest Worldperks VISA
card, and more specifically with U.S. Bank’s customer
service department.

In over 5 years of holding this card, I have been an
excellent customer, but my last bill included a $60
combined late/finance charge due to my payment being
applied a few days late. I called to dispute this and
still contend that I had mailed this payment early
enough to not incur this charge. However, I finally
crossed paths with an extremely rude supervisor at
U.S. Bank that did not want to take the time to hear
my side of the story in full. In order to just get me
off the phone, he agreed to waive the fee, but it
still burned me bad enough that I cancelled the card.

So my question is this: I am looking for a
credit card (MC or VISA) that has excellent “customer
service!” If anyone could share any thoughts, comments, or ideas on
how to find a credit card with the “best” customer
service department, I would very much appreciate it.
