when it says 3% of each BF ($5 min./$75 max. per transfer) does it mean I will get charged $75 on a $3500 transfer?

Yes. Lucky to have a cap on that one! Some BT offers do not have a maximum fee anymore. Only thing better would be no fee at all.

You might want to call the creditor and ask if they can waive the fee.

"credit card BF fee" eh... I didn't know that you need to pay a fee for a boyfriend using your credit card these days.
But seriously yeah, $75 / 3% = $2500, so you'll be charged $75 when you do a BT of $2500 or more. I don't think they'll waive the fee either even if you called. There're in the business to make money after all. You can certainly try if you want though.
