New poster here, but I have watched this Board for awhile. I have a question to ask because I know of no one better suited to answer it.
I currently have a MBNA Worldpoints Visa which I have had since November 2004. Today in the mail, I got a letter from MBNA letting me know that I can upgrade to the MBNA Worldpoints Visa Signiture. As far as I can tell, I keep the no annual fee but gain no preset spending limit, and premium offers for hotels, etc. Is this truly an upgrade? Is it worth it to upgrade?
They do not state the interest rate but I can tell you that I would never upgrade if they tried to bump up my interest rate.
Your assitance is greatly appreciated.

Greetings and welcome to the board! I would say go for it as long as the interest rate is the same and there is no additional fees. We have heard good comments about Visa' Signature service. Let us know how things turn out...

I recently received an offer to apply for this Signature Visa, did and got the card with an introductory 2.9% for 12 cycles. Although the cardholder won’t be charged an over limit penalty, every transaction which takes you over your initial limit (you’re given one) has to be individually evaluated and approved. So this no pre-spending limit deal has to be tested to see what it yields.
Once BofA fully takes over MBNA, there's no telllin’ what it’ll do to this Signature Card and its features.
