Hi everyone,

Currently looking for another credit card and during my search I found the Chase Cash Plus Rewards Visa card. I did a search in the card reviews section, but didn't find any ratings/reviews on this card. Does anyone have this card? http://www.firstusa.com/cgi-bin/webcgi/webserve.cgi?partner_dir_name=chase_cashplus_champ&page=cont&mkid=60DN
The link goes to the offer I found online. The cashback offer seems to be very similar to Citibank's Platinum Dividend card. [/b]

Greetings and thanks for the post! This is a brand new card as far as I know and looks like they have copied Citibank's reward structure. Looks good on the surface. Do you know what the annual limit on rewards is?

Although Citi's Dividend Platinum & Amex Blue are better than Chase Cash Rewards , Cash Rewards is way better than most other cards with cash rewards. Since i have Chase Platinum , to upgrade to CR was easy.

I can't find the nitty-gritty fine print anywhere from that link. How would you compare it to Blue Cash or Dividend?

I think it's a good card and am considering upgrading myself....Citi's is alright they just request too much info and AMEX are really hard to get while Chase is a little more leniant.

I applied for this card online a few days ago and got the you'll receive a response within 30 days in the mail reply. Hopefully I'll get the card and give a review of it. One thing that is currently troubling me is that I applied for a educational loan and the credit report that the lender pulled showed that my permanent address has been changed to my parents' address. Not sure how the change happened. I found out when the lender called me to verify my address. Hope Chase will not decline my application because of the address mix up.

Don't worry about it. Educational loans in general increases the credit score , and also increases the chance to approve the credit card. Just call to credit department to verify your address.

It may be best to call them anyways to make sure a human reviewed your app.

The computer may not like something, but an actual person may give you a better chance.

Well, I called them and they told me my application was approved and I'll receive a card in the mail within 10 business days. The customer representative told me they used Equifax to check my credit report. I guess Equifax still has my correct address listed. For some reason the representative wouldn't tell me how much my credit limit is on my approved credit card. Guess I'll just have to wait and see. If you guys have Chase credit cards, how much was your starting credit limit?

No problem, I'll post the information when I receive it in the mail. What do you think of my user name? haha...anyone else apply for this card yet? There's a promotion going on for this card right now. You get 1,000 points if you apply for the card, but I don't see them mentioning 5% cashback when the card is used at gas stations, drug stores, and supermarkets in the ad. 1,000 points doesn't seem like a good trade off for the 5% cash back.

It's because the 5% cashback offer belongs to Citi Dividend Platinum.

Does anybody know the actual terms of the rebate, like if there is an annual cap, any tiers, any maximum rebate per year, how many points are needed to request a check, or is it sent automatically, etc?

This card sounds like the Citi Dividend, but is it?

It depends in your credit score & your income. Generally from $1000 to $2500 credit limit

It's basically 1 point per dollar charged in your account including finances charges. When you reach 2500 points , you'll receive a check of $25.00 . Each time you reach 2500 points , you'll receive the check.

Appears to be 30,000 "points" (you can cash 2,500 points in for $25, so $300). Same as Citi Dividends.

Offer I have though is 7.99% fixed APR
