Chase recently teamed up with United Airlines to launch three premium travel rewards credit cards aimed at what one spokesperson called "savvy travelers." A trio of United Mileage Plus Visa Cards offer preferential treatment on United flights and on flights operated by its partners in Star Alliance. Each of the three credit cards highlights a different kind of airline reward:

  • United Mileage Plus Club Visa: $375 annual fee, includes one year Red Carpet Club membership
  • United Mileage Plus Access Visa: $275 annual fee, includes extra legroom seat assignments and two Red Carpet Club guest passes
  • United Mileage Plus Select Visa: $130 annual fee, earns triple miles on United purchases

Frequent United travelers can save money when stacking card fees against typical airline surcharges. For instance, United Red Carpet Club normally costs $525 per year, making the United Mileage Plus Club Visa Card a $150 savings based on club access alone. Account holders can use all three cards to earn bonus miles on everyday purchases.
