Chase Freedom Rewards Cardholders with More Bonus Cash Back Starting March 31
March 10, 2010
By: Joe Taylor Jr.

Recent reviews of popular cash back credit card programs indicate that many consumers must spend upwards of $3,000 per year on a reward card before receiving any significant perks. The new structure of Chase Freedom's reward program allows cardholders to participate from the moment they receive their new cards in the mail.
Instead of receiving cash back rewards as statement credits, Chase Freedom cardholders can opt to participate in Chase's Ultimate Rewards program. Choosing redeemable points instead of cash back allows cardholders to get even more value on certain travel and entertainment rewards. With no annual fee and no limit to earning rewards, Chase Freedom could attract business from more expensive competitors.
