You just responded to my post about rehab accounts, but I think you must have misunderstood what I was asking. I wasn't asking about AMEX, I was asking about CapOne. I originally posted, asking if anyone had similar reinstatement programs to AMEX's OASIS, specifically CapOne and Discover. You wrote back that CapOne had done a 'rehab account for me and it worked great for both of us'. I was asking who you spoke with, what the process was, and how they treated the account once it was open and paid, with CapOne not Amex. I'd love to hear how you did it, so I know what steps to follow. Thanks!

They offered it to me in a letter. I took them up on it. It has been a great experience for cap 1 and myself

FOund it.

Here's the phone number to the office that does the rehab accounts.

The number may have changed with time but here's what it was when they offered it to me:

800-261-5872

They may answer the phone as the westmoreland agency. It was still a cap one card and since i paid it off totally and perfectly it was converted to full platinum stauts with all the benefits and no annual fee.
